Refund Policy

At KALAKAAR, we are dedicated to the highest standards of craftsmanship. Because our premiumfurniture is often handcrafted or custom-made to order, our return policy is designed to balance artisanal integrity with customer satisfaction.

1. Eligibility for Returns

We only accept returns or exchanges under the following circumstances:

  • Transit Damage: If your uniquefurniture arrives with structural or cosmetic damage caused during shipping.

  • Manufacturing Defects: If there is a clear error in the artisanal build or material integrity of the furniture.

  • Incorrect Item: If the piece delivered does not match the approved 2D/3D design specifications or the product ordered.
     

2. Non-Returnable Items

  • Bespoke & Custom Orders: Since custom modernfurniture is designed and built specifically for your requirements, these items are not eligible for return, exchange, or cancellation once production has begun.

  • Minor Natural Variations: Variations in wood grain, texture, and natural color tones are hallmarks of antiquefurniture soul and are not considered defects.

  • Final Sale Items: Products purchased from our "Clearance" or "Archive" sections are sold as-is and are non-returnable.
     

3. Reporting Damage (The 24-Hour Rule)

To be eligible for a resolution, you must:

  1. Inspect the item immediately upon delivery in the presence of the carrier.

  2. Note any damage on the Proof of Delivery (POD) slip.

  3. Report the issue to us with high-resolution photos and videos within 24 hours of receipt.
     

4. Refund Process

  • Inspection: Once a return is authorized and received at our studio, it will undergo a thorough quality inspection.

  • Approval: If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

  • Restocking Fee: Returns for non-defective, standard items may be subject to a 20% restocking fee plus return shipping costs.
