Shipping Policy

At KALAKAAR, we specialize in "Modern Heritage" pieces that require meticulous care. From the initial 3D design to the final artisanal polish, we ensure your premiumfurniture is handled with the highest standards of safety and transparency.

1. Production & Processing Timelines

Because we prioritize craftsmanship over mass production, our timelines reflect the artisanal nature of our work:

  • In-Stock Items: Dispatched within 5–7 business days.

  • Bespoke & Made-to-Order: These pieces are crafted specifically for you and typically require 4–6 weeks for production. You will receive a technical 2D/3D design for approval before production begins.
     

2. Shipping Destinations & Delivery Times

We ship our uniquefurniture across India. Once your order is dispatched from our studio, estimated delivery times are:

  • Metropolitan Cities: 5–10 business days.

  • Rest of India: 10–15 business days.

  • Note: International shipping is available upon request. Please contact our concierge for a custom freight quote.
     

3. Shipping Charges

  • Standard Shipping: Calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and delivery pin code.

  • White Glove Delivery: For our most delicate antiquefurniture and modernfurniture pieces, we offer a premium service that includes inside placement and packaging removal (available in select cities).
     

4. Our "Safe-Crate" Packaging

To protect your investment, we use a multi-layered protection system:

  • Industrial Padding: High-density foam and bubble wrap for all surfaces.

  • Edge Guards: Reinforced corner protection to prevent dents.

  • Wooden Crating: For all fragile or large-scale items, we use custom-built wooden crates to ensure structural integrity during transit.
     

5. Inspection & Transit Damage

Your furniture is insured during transit. However, to process a claim, we require your cooperation:

  • Mandatory Inspection: Please inspect the crate and the furniture immediately upon arrival in the presence of the delivery partner.

  • Reporting: If any damage is found, you must note it on the Proof of Delivery (POD) slip and notify us with photos/videos within 24 hours.

  • Resolution: For verified transit damage, we will prioritize a professional repair or a full replacement at no additional cost to you.
     

6. Tracking Your Order

Once your masterpiece is on its way, you will receive a tracking link via email and WhatsApp. For large freight deliveries, our logistics partner will call you 24–48 hours in advance to schedule a convenient delivery window.
