Welcome to KALAKAAR. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of our premiumfurniture. By accessing our site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

1. Artisanal Nature & Product Variations

At KALAKAAR, we celebrate the soul of uniquefurniture.

  • Natural Materials: Because we use solid woods (such as Sheesham and Walnut) and hand-applied finishes, minor variations in grain, color, and texture are inherent to the material and are not considered defects.

  • Handcrafting: As each piece is a blend of antiquefurniture soul and modernfurniture precision, slight artisanal variations may occur between the digital image and the final product.
     

2. Bespoke & Custom Orders

  • Technical Approval: For custom commissions, production begins only after the client provides written or digital approval of the provided 2D/3D design specifications.

  • Modifications: Changes to custom designs must be requested within 48 hours of order placement. Once production has commenced, modifications may incur additional costs.
     

3. Pricing & Payment

  • Currency: All prices are listed in INR (Indian Rupees) unless stated otherwise.

  • Payment Terms: For made-to-order pieces, we require full payment (or a minimum 50% deposit, depending on the project scope) to initiate the crafting process.

  • Inclusions: Prices include applicable taxes but exclude shipping and handling fees, which are calculated at checkout.
     

4. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including furniture designs, technical blueprints (such as our Solar Chronometer mechanism), brand logos, and photography—is the exclusive property of KALAKAAR. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use is strictly prohibited.
 

5. Limitation of Liability

KALAKAAR is not liable for:

  • Damage resulting from improper use, lack of maintenance, or exposure to extreme environmental conditions (e.g., direct sunlight or high humidity).

  • Delays in delivery caused by third-party logistics or force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, strikes).
     

6. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of your use of this site or purchase of furniture shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in delhi.
 

7. Updates to Terms

KALAKAAR reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.
